Marion Lapoint

Marion LaPoint, 92, of Nassau, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Mrs. LaPoint was born in Albany where she lived most of her life. She had lived in Nassau for 14 years. Mrs. LaPoint had worked as a postal clerk at the main post office in Albany for over 20 years, retiring in 1975. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Nassau. Mrs. LaPoint was predeceased by her husband, Daniel J. LaPoint. Survivors include her sons, Daniel, Edward, Barry (Linda) and Thomas LaPoint; two daughters, Marion LaPoint and Linda (George) Luft; grandchildren, Danielle, Evan and Brian LaPoint and Eric and Scott Luft; and great-granddaughters, Haley and Lillian Luft. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial Mass to be held at St. Mary's Church in Nassau Thursday morning at 10:00. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Nassau. There will be no calling hours.
