Obituary of Theresa Stuto-Turner

Theresa Stuto-Turner, 69, of Nassau passed away peacefully at home after a long illness on March 16, 2016 surrounded by her family. Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Eleanor Stuto and granddaughter of the late Fannie Stuto. Theresa was formerly employed by Fleet Bank and was a travel coordinator for Yankee Trails but was a homemaker most of her life. She is survived by her husband Thomas H. Turner; her loyal Bichon, Shadow; children, Mark (Tina) Turner, Melissa (Frank) Bulan, Michael (Catherine) Turner, Amy (Ken) Barber; stepchildren, Joy (Gary Saunders) Behan, Teri (Tony) Kurylo, Tracy (Richard Thomas) Turner; grandchildren, Matthew, Paul, Alexis, Frank, Mackenzie, Melissa, Cameron, Laura, Kayla, Katrina, Jenna, Michael, Thomas, Steven, Ashlee and Danny. She is also survived by her brothers, Bruce (Diane) Stuto, Anthony (Melissa) Stuto, Buddy (Brenda) Stuto; sisters, Deborah (Daniel) Wilson and Dawn (George) Morrissey and many cousins, nieces and nephews and dear friends Sue Schoch and Pam Greenough. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Angelo Stuto Jr., sister Donna M. Sasso and her precious great grandson Logan. Funeral service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau on Sunday, March 20 at 5:00pm. Relatives and friends are invited to call prior to the service from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. The family would like to thank the staff on the fifth floor at Samaritan Hospital, Nicole Ryan RPA and the Community Hospice.
