Babe is gone, not an easy realization! He was always around, Babe and my brother Harry had a bro match when it came to fishing. Babe is an icon in my eyes, we grew up together, we went to school together and I thought the world of him. Will miss going by the house on route 20, blowing the horn and having him wave. This is the part of life I detest. Wishing his family peace and tranquility knowing he is at rest and free from pain.

I am so sorry to hear of Babe’s passing. His laughter is part of so many of my childhood memories in Nassau ... Little League games, warm summer days at Lyons Lake, clambakes at the VFW after the Memorial Day parades. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace, Babe.

The world has lost a remarkable person with the passing of Babe. His adventures were legendary, he truly lived a charmed life. I knew him all my life and have such fond memories of his kindness and generosity, and his boundless sense of humor. He may be gone from this earth, but he will certainly never be forgotten. May he rest in peace.

Sincere Condolences to Sue & All of Babe's Family & Friends....The many memories this amazing man has left for so many of the hearts that he touched through the years.... One that I will always remember was back in the 1970's when I was at Chuck & Jeans at the Lakeview on Nassau Lake..... Babe came in & asked if I would serve a 'Chic' that he wanted to bring in.... Of course I said... ' Yes '.... and He left....but shortly returned with.... Yes... 'A Chicken on His Shoulder'.... that day was the 'first & only time' I served a Chicken a Drink. They both drank their drinks... and we all had a great memory that day!! So many stories that made so many people happy.... as I just know he will always be just a thought away. I share this to help Comfort a Family that we All Know Babe Loved Dearly & will always Watch Over. Love & Comfort to you Sue...& All the Family. God Bless
With our deep sympathy, Bob & Jane

We really didn't know each other in High School but that doesn't mean we weren't friends. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends at this very sad time. Rest in Peace Babe Wiese.
