Obituary of Rebecka E. Couse

Rebecka E. Couse, 29, of Schenectady formerly of Nassau, passed away on January 24, 2018.  Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Stephen O. Nalley and Barbara Secor, loving wife of Jason Couse and mother to Michael Jason Couse and Mackenzie Joy Couse.  Becka was a devoted mother, wife and friend.  She was always willing to lend a helping hand and to put everyone else first.  Becka loved to draw, was an amazing artist and was known as a jokester.  In addition to her husband and children she is survived by her grandmothers Dorothy Nalley and Marge Secor; mother, Barbara Secor; mommy-in-law, Joyce Couse; brother, Stephen B. Nalley; sisters, Kaitlyn (Rachel) Fulston and Kimberley Nalley.  She is also survived by a host of other relatives.  In addition to her father she was predeceased by her grandfather's, Raymond Nalley Jr. and Edward Secor.  Funeral service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau on Monday at 11:00am.  Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 3-7PM on Sunday.  Interment will be in the Nassau Schodack Cemetery.  A reception will be held at the Chandler Young Veterans Association, 7 Lyons Lake Road, Nassau, immediately following the burial.  In lieu of flowers a Go Fund Me page has been set up under the name Becka Couse Memorial Fund to help Jason and the children with any expenses they might incur.  A fund for Beckas children has also been set up at SEFCU and checks can be made out to the Rebecka Couse Memorial Fund, FBO Michael and Mackenzie Couse and mailed to SEFCU PO Box 12189 Albany NY 12212-2189.  Online condolences may be offered at Mooneyfuneralhome.com
