Thomas J. Sutiff, 50, of Schodack passed away December 14, 2012 at his home. Born in Ithaca the son of the late Lawrence Sutliff and Carole Kaeslin, he was a handyman and could fix or build anything. He loved building birdhouses and even had his own business called Tom The Handyman Sutliff. An avid outdoorsman Tom loved to camp, fish, hunt and sit by a good bonfire. His family thought of him as the best father, husband, and poppa there could ever be. He instilled a strong set of morals in his children and taught them a great skill-set to tackle all of life's ups and downs.
In addition to his mother Carole Reed he is survived by his loving wife Melissa Sutliff, sons, Thomas II, Jonathan, and Robert Sutliff, and Joseph Leininger, daughters, Angela Prugel, Samantha Diamond, and Lela Sutliff, sisters, Roxanne and Michelle Sutliff, brothers, Lawrence and Mark Sutliff and Clayton Acosta, grandchildren, Tyler and Evan Sutliff, Trinity and Nevaeh Prugel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the New Life Assembly of God 292 Hays Rd. East Greenbush NY 12061, Thursday December 20th at 7:00pm. All are invited. "When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure"
