Beverly Smith

Beverly E. Smith went home to be with her Lord and Shepherd on Thursday September 24, 2015. Beverly attended Russell Sage College and was a graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in Latin and English. She studied ballet at the Hallenbeck School of the Dance. She spent many joyous years as a ballet instructor of children. She worked at the Nassau Post Office as a clerk for 11 years. Beverly was predeceased by her husband, Gordon H. Smith. They were married for 68 years. She was the mother of Ronald (Jill) Smith, Richard (Patricia) Smith, Cynthia (Jeffrey) Green, Darrell (Ellen) Smith, Melissa (Michael) Borey, and Michele (Paul) Rosamilia. She was the grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. All are welcome to attend a Memorial Service and a dessert reception to be held on Saturday October 10, at 2:00PM at the West Stephentown Baptist Church, 1672 NY 43 Stephentown, N.Y.
