Dale E. Lavare, 54, of Rensselaer, died suddenly on December 25, 2011. Born in Malone NY he was the son of the late Erwin S. Lavare and Marcia Platel. Dale had retired from St. Peter's Hospital after working there for 22 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and camping.

Dale is survived by his; mother, Marcia Platel, step-father, William Platel; loving wife, Kimberly (Rock) Lavare; daughters, Kierstyn and Kaitlyn Lavare; step-son, William Moak Jr.; step-daughter Aarica Moak; brothers, Darrell and Daryn Lavare; sister, Desiree Platel; granddaughter, Haylee Moak. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home on Thursday, December 29 at 7:00pm. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home prior to the service from 4:00-7:00pm. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
