Deborah Hiles

Deborah "Deb" Lynne (Ellers) Hiles passed away peacefully on July 29, 2016 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Deb and her late twin Sue were born on November 3, 1960 in Hudson. Deb worked almost 30 years as a secretary for the NYS office of the Comptroller and she also worked part time with her late sister Sue at the Times Union Center. She loved the N.Y. Giants and the Boston Red Sox, enjoyed camping, Las Vegas, metal detecting on Rhode Island beaches and loved her two cats. She is survived by her loving parents, Richard Ellers and Donna Ann Hacker; stepfather, Joe Hacker; loving husband, Leonard Hiles; step-children, Maria, Jason and Lenny Hiles; brother, Terry Ellers; stepsisters, Donna (Michael) Goodall, Dawne (Steven) Kelly and Denise Leggett; stepbrother, Joseph (Brenda) Hacker; beloved nieces, Sarah and Jenny Ellers. She also leaves several aunts, uncles, nephews, step-nephews and nieces and many friends. The family would like to express a special thanks to all of their family and friends and the staff at Albany Medical center. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau on Wednesday August 3, from 4-7 pm. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at St. Mary's Cemetery in Nassau at 10:00am.
