Dennis M. Dalton, 52, of Nassau died suddenly Tuesday February 8th. Born in Teaneck NJ he was the son of Arthur J. Dalton and the late Marguerite (Scheid) Dalton. He was raised in Edgewater NJ and was a graduate of Leonia High School. Dennis moved to Nassau in his early 20's. He recently retired from Verizon after 13 years with the company. Dennis loved fishing, playing cards, going to the Jersey Shore and was an avid New York Giants and Yankees fan.

Along with his father he leaves his loving daughter Samantha Rose Dalton of Castleton, his former wife Tammy (Holsborg) Dalton of Castleton, his partner in life Gail Dedie, his brothers, James A. Dalton (Patricia O'Shea) of Edgewater NJ, John J. Dalton (Joan Christantello) of Ridgefield Park NJ, and Robert O. Dalton (Henry Bartlett) of Rensselaer, a sister Joanne Goodermote (William) of E. Nassau and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau, Saturday Feb. 12th at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home Friday evening from 4-8 PM.
