Donna De Groff

Donna L. De Groff, 62, of Watervliet passed away on March 23, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late William and Carmela Curtis. Donna was a caring woman who loved to bake and cook for her family. She could always be found baking during the holidays and was known for her baked mac and cheese. Donna loved to play bingo and was always dressed to the nines, she enjoyed shopping for clothes and new shoes at tag sales to create her next outfit. She is survived by her sons; Stanley (Stacey) De Groff III of Hannibal, William (Paula) De Groff, of Stephentown and Ben De Groff of Stephentown; daughter, Charmel (William) Bergdoll of Stephentown; brother, James (Judy) Curtis of Albany; thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings William Curtis and Rose Greene. Funeral service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau on Saturday at 5:00pm.
