Doris Stenqvist

Doris Stella Stenqvist (Denbow) surrounded by her devoted husband, daughter, son and loving family passed into the arms of the Lord on Jan 14, 2015 in the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany New York.

She was the daughter of Theodore and Virginia (carter) Denbow. Born and raised in Milford CT, Doris cherished her family, loved to garden and listen to Elvis while doing housework. A Graduate of Milford High School Doris held many different positions in manufacturing and quality control.

Doris is survived by her loving husband of nearly 32 years Tore Stenqvist, daughter Christine Litchfield of New York, her son Walter Luciano of Stratford. Brothers, Sterling Bunker(Corace) and Charles Denbow of West Haven, sisters; Diane Williams (Ray) of Ellsworth Maine, Barbara Rosiak (Franklin), Teresa Goron (Sam), Julie Ward (Ronald) all of Milford, Ct., as well as JoAnne Talone of Mass. Memorial Service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau, NY on Saturday Jan. 24th at 12:00 noon. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home prior to the service from 11:00am - 12:00pm. A reception will follow the service at the Nassau Sportsman Club 370 Boyce Rd.
