Dorothy Thierry

Averill Park, Dorothy Thierry 91, of Hoags Corners Road, Averill Park went home to be with the Lord on Friday December 31, 2010. Born in Carbondale, PA. she was the daughter of the late Margaret and Stephen Vansovitch and the wife of the late Robert J Thierry.

Mrs. Thierry worked as a seamstress for the former Rielly's Clothing Manufacturers in Valatie. Mrs. Thierry was a 50-year member of St. Basil's Russian Orthodox Church in Watervliet.

Mrs. Thierry is survived by two sons; Joseph (Dorothy) Thierry of Utica, Robert (Cynthia) Thierry of Moriah Center, three daughters; Lorraine Kush of Adams Center, and Yvonne (Phil) Lester of Golden CO., and Yvette Thierry of Chillicothe, Ohio and a daughter-in-law Debra Thierry of Allentown, PA. She was grandmother to 13 grandchildren and super grandmother to seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Thierry was predeceased by her son Stephen and her daughter Arlene. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Funeral Tuesday 1pm from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Funeral Home Monday 4-7pm.

Interment Nassau-Schodack Cemetery, Nassau.
