Evan Hopkins

Evan L. Hopkins, 50, of Watervliet, formerly on Nassau passed away April 9th, at St. Peter's Hospital. The son of William and H. Sue (Harter) Hopkins, Evan graduated high school and went on to Culinary School to become an Executive Chef. He enjoyed spending his time watching football and was an avid fisherman.



Evan is survived by his; parents, Bill and Sue Hopkins; daughter, Monica (Joe) Collen; twin brother, Eric (Donna) Hopkins; sister, Heather (Mark) Werner. He is also survived by several nieces. Evan was predeceased by his sister Heidi.



Funeral service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau, Wednesday at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home prior to the service Wednesday from 10-11am. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Nassau.



In lieu on flowers donations in Evan's memory can be made to the Crime Victims Assistance Program, 2215 Burdett Ave. Troy NY 12180.
