Greta O. Koons

Greta O. Koons, 51, of New Lebanon passed away at home on August 31, 2021. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of Herbert Bahrmann Sr. and the late Violet LaWare Bahrmann. Greta was employed for over 20 years by OTB, starting in New Lebanon as a teller and retiring in New Lebanon as a manager. She had a love for all animals, especially her late cats. Greta enjoyed trying new recipes in the kitchen and traveling to Lake George yearly to see the sights of the Adirondacks. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. She is survived by her father, Herbert Bahrmann Sr. (Wendy Cook); son, Christopher Koons; brother, Herbert (Joanne) Bahrmann Jr.; sister Tina (Dennis) Smith; her life partner Jeff Grune, as well as several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service in the East Nassau Rural Cemetery on Tuesday, Sept. 7th at 2:00PM.
