A true angel gained her wings on December 20, 2022. Jade Phoenix Agar left this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus and be reunited with her son Johnny. She was 37 years old and the loving wife of Daniel J. Agar and the daughter of Ross and Kelly Phoenix. She was born in Albany NY, raised in Nassau NY, and continued to live there with her family. Jade’s life was devoted to faith, family, and ministry.
Her faith alongside her loving and compassionate nature touched the heart of every person she interacted with. Amongst her church she was involved in the worship team, board of trustees, children’s ministry, youth group, missions and outreach programs.
Her love for her family was abundant as she shared her passion for music, her pets, gardening, and homeschooling with them.
In addition to her husband of 15 years and loving parents, she leaves behind
sons James (15), Austin (14), Theodore (5), and daughter Danielle (11), brothers William (Meg) and Shaun Phoenix, her church family, grandparents Lawrence and Patricia White, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Jade was predeceased by her Grandparents Roswald and Jean Phoenix and son John R. Agar.
The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff at Albany Medical Center for their loving and compassionate care.
A funeral service will be held at the New Hope For Life Ministries, 1 Fairgrounds Street, Nassau, NY 12123 on Wednesday December 28 at 12:00pm. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the church prior to the service from 10am-12pm. Interment to follow in the Nassau-Schodack Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in honor of Jade's memory to the Jimmy Fund at Dana Farber Cancer Institute at danafarber.jimmyfund.org.
