John R. Bridge

Bridge, John R. Nassau- John "Rebel" Bridge, 54, passed away on Oct. 15, 2018. Born in Franklin TN he was the son of the late John and Barbara Bridge. At the time of his passing he was employed as a Manager at Middlebrook Farms in Nassau. Rebel enjoyed his work taking care of and playing with horses. He also enjoyed racing cars and previously raced sprint cars and street stock cars all over the country. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his loving companion of more than 25 years, Susan Lynne Ellers and her sister, his dear friend Deborah Hiles. He is survived by his in laws, Joe and Donna Hacker, Richard Ellers, and Terry Ellers. He is also survived by his employers and close friends the Zweig family; cousin, Nancy King, as well as many other dear friends and extended family. He will be dearly missed by his dog, Pearl. Relatives and friends may call at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. in Nassau on Friday from 1-3pm with a memorial service to follow at 3:00pm. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Nassau.
