June Blair

Nassau-June F. Blair, 86, of Westbrook Drive in Nassau died Monday February 20, at Resurrection Nursing Home in Castleton. Born in Albany NY she was the daughter of the late Frank D. and Olive (Benoit) Farr and loving wife of the late Donald E. Blair. Mrs. Blair was a high school graduate and attended Mildred Elley. Though she did hold a few jobs she was primarily a homemaker who loved taking care of her family, especially her grand and great grandchildren. June loved to camp, golf, take walks and especially loved her casinos. Mrs. Blair was an avid card player and enjoyed playing bingo. She could always be seen working the polls on Election Day.

June is survived by her; sons, David E. (Regina) Blair of Nassau and Daniel J. (Daisy) Blair of East Greenbush; daughters, Donna F. (Thomas) Bolani of Nassau and Dale S. Baldwin of Pattersonville; brother, Peter Farr of Troy; grandchildren, Beth Ann, Keith, Tina, Leslie, Joseph, Nikki, Michael, Tiffany, Leanne, and Alissa. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren. In addition to her husband June was predeceased by her sisters, M. Olive Waterman and Constance Empie.

Funeral service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau Saturday, February 25th at 12:00noon. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:00am - 12:00. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Nassau.
