Kirt George

Valatie- On November 20, 2024, Kirt E. George Sr., 76 surrounded by family, left his home here on earth to go to his home in heaven where he was met with family lined up and waiting there. Born and raised in Pownal, VT to the late Clifford and Eleanor George, he then found himself with a family of his own here in NY. Known in his early life for running around in retail, he found himself a job as a courier for Albany Med. Kirt was devoted to his family at home and as a member of Full Gospel and Faith and Love. He was known for his cowboy hat, clicking cowboy boots and his jingling keys, and never hesitating to seize the chance for one of his many jokes or wise cracks, or his favorite of all to pop around the corner with some halloween mask on to keep you on your toes. All of that and so much more about him, will forever be remembered, loved, and missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son Kirt (Lanna-Rae) Lynch-George, Jr.; daughters, Angelina (Michael) George, Celine (Matthew) George, Andrea (Wayne) Miller, Katelyne (Nathaniel) Ziman, and Rebekah George; sister Jackie Garvey and grandson Shawn Lynch-George. As well as many other children, grandchildren, and many more, all whom he loved and cared for so much..

A celebration of life will be held for Kirt on a date to be determined.
