Kyle S. Shuhart, 64, of East Greenbush, passed away on April 6, 2025 at St. Peter's Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Cyril and Annette (Harbin) Shuhart and was a longtime Nassau resident, prior to moving to East Greenbush.

Kyle was very proud of his military service, he served in the United States Marine Corps from 1980 to 1982 before being discharged. He worked as a painter throughout his career, most recently for Evergreen Commons Nursing Home. Kyle enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. He was a loving father, husband, and grandfather who cherished his time spent with family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Laurie Shuhart; children, Bradley (Stella) Shuhart, Wesley Shuhart, Nicole Alkurabi, Kyle D.C. Shuhart, and Ethan (Samantha) Shuhart; siblings, William (Kelly) Shuhart, Ron Shuhart, and Heather Durham. He is also survived by his grandchildren Lyric, Bella, Ezra, Rylee, Kamerynn, Oliver, Mikailyn, Silas, and Wilder as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Edward and Sherri Shuhart.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Kyle's family on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau, NY 12123. A reception, with further details to be announced, will immediately follow the calling hours.
