Margaret Gregory

Margaret Spencer Gregory, 98, of East Nassau was reunited with her husband, Arthur on October 2, 2014. Margaret was a 1938 graduate of the Albany State Teachers College. She lived her life quietly pursuing her passions for gardening, reading and enjoying classical music. Margaret was a proud member of the National Grid Twenty-Five Year Club. For the last years of her life, Margaret was gently cared for at home by her "boys", son in law, Thomas and grandson Michael Arthur under the compassionate guidance of Maria Pesquera, M.D. and the Albany Visiting Nurses. She was predeceased by her father, Warner V. Noyes and her devoted stepmother and dear friend Ernestine Poirier Noyes. Margret is survived by her daughter, Nancy Clement (Thomas) of East Nassau and grandchildren, Sarah Clement of Mystic CT and Michael Clement of East Nassau. Margaret's family would like to thank Carol J. Burgess, M.D. and staff for maintaining her quality of life and Steven T. Simmons, M.D. and staff for their unceasing efforts to preserve her vision. They would also like to thank Mary Demos of the Albany Visiting Nurses, who was there at the time of Margaret's passing, for her care and compassion. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, Margaret has requested that donations in her memory be made to WMHT Radio at 4 Global View Troy, NY 12180.
