Marion Blair

Nassau- Marion A. (VanDeusen) Blair, passed away peacefully on May 28th, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 4, 1935, in Troy, NY to the late Corinne Carlson of Nassau and James VanDeusen of Saratoga. Marion worked at Speedy Sales in Nassau for 30 years and Walmart in East Greenbush for 7 years. Marion's whole life was her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Marion was predeceased by her husband, Harold "Jake" Blair of Nassau; her brothers, James VanDeusen of Castleton, George VanDeusen of Saratoga, and Alan VanDeusen of Syracuse. She is survived by her children, Judy Miner of West Sand Lake, Jack (Madé) Hardy of San Diego, CA, Joanne (Herman) Lawrence of East Greenbush, Jim (Monica) Hardy of Averill Park, and Alicia LaScala of Nassau. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Marion's family from 11-1:00 p.m., on Monday, June 3, 2024, at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau, NY 12123. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Inurnment will immediately follow the funeral service at Woodlawn Cemetery, East Schodack, NY.
