Mary Dunleavy

Mary Ellen Dunleavy (Eager) 74 of Naples, Florida passed away on October 5, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Troy, NY, and is predeceased by her parents George J. Eager and Mildred Eager and brother, George E. Eager of Nassau, NY.

Mary graduated from Columbia High School in East Greenbush in 1957. Devoted mother and homemaker, Mary later retired as a manager with Capital District Off-Track Betting. Mary enjoyed a happy retirement in Naples, Florida with her friends and family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years and best friend, John Patrick Dunleavy, her children Lona Flannery (Michael), Patrick Dunleavy (Aster), and Sean Dunleavy, her grandchildren, Tony Martin, Christian Martin, Eileen Mary Dunleavy, Johnny Dunleavy, and Kyle Flannery. She is also survived by family members, Patricia and John Danner, Beatrice Eager and John Clynes as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday November 22, 11:00am at St. Mary's Church in Nassau. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau prior to the Mass from 9:30-10:30am. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Nassau.
