Michael Keating

Michael P. Keating Sr. ('Mike') passed away suddenly on Friday, September 22, 2017. A 30 year resident of East Greenbush, he retired from Owens Corning after 33 years to Florida in 2013. Mike was an Army veteran, having served in Vietnam. He was an active member of W. F. Bruen Rescue Squad as an EMT during his time in East Greenbush.
Mike is survived by his wife of 43 years Hope (Beattie); his children Michael (Mary) Keating, Timothy (Laura) Keating, and Kari (Ian) Kulman. He was a 'Poppy' to his grandchildren Scott, Cole, Ryleigh, Samantha, Jillian, Amelia and Grayson. Mike is also survived by his sister Helen Whimple ('Shea') of Florida.
Mike didn't want any services, he would have liked for you to have a cocktail in his honor and to be remembered with stories that celebrate his life.
