Patricia A. Lamboy

Patricia (Pat) Lamboy, of Nassau, NY passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 6, 2022 after a long battle with illness. Born in Hudson, N.Y. on February 9,1945, Pat was the daughter of Eugene and Emma (Bagley) Hook. Patricia lived all her life in Nassau, NY with her husband John (Jack) prior to his passing on August 14, 2018.

Patricia graduated from Columbia High School and Albany Business College. She was later employed at the State Bank of Albany, Questar III BOCES, H&R Block, and the State of New York until her retirement in 2016. Pat was Treasurer for the East Schodack Fire District #1 for over 30 years and was a member of the Rensselaer County Home Bureau.

Pat enjoyed her gardens of flowers and watching the cardinals and deer on her lawn each day. She was one of the most selfless, generous and caring people to those fortunate enough to know her. Pat was most proud of her family and loved spending time with her sons and her grandchildren.

Patricia was a devoted wife and mother and beloved Nana to her grandchildren. She is survived by her two sons, Nicholas (Carrianna) and William (Julie); her grandchildren; Randy, Rafe, Zara, Madison, Annaliese, and Juliana. She is also survived by her nieces; Linda Williams, Donna Makoske, and Nancy Konkle and her nephew, Wayne Hook. Patricia was predeceased by her siblings, Louise Miller, Wayne (Hookey) Hook and Margaret (Maggie) Hook.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside memorial service on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 10:30am at the Nassau-Schodack Cemetery located on State Route 203, Nassau. A luncheon will follow at the East Schodack Fire Company, 3071 NY-150 East Schodack, NY 12063.
