Peter Morris

Peter Morris passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Friday, November 29, 2024 in Albany, New York at the age of 43. Pete was born February 14, 1981, in Albany, New York. He was the oldest of 3 children and is survived by his parents, Robert and Kristine Morris; his sister Michelle (Michael) Johnson; his brother Thomas (Nicole) Morris; and nephews and niece, William, Bentley, Michaela, and Colton.

He was a lifelong resident of Rensselaer County and had graduated from Columbia High School in 1999, where he was well liked by everyone. When he wasn't struggling, he had a way of connecting with everyone and could converse on almost any topic. He especially liked talking about sports and history, which were some of his favorite topics. His smile was genuine, and he cherished memories of his youthful days. Pete never hesitated to help but had a hard time helping himself.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Pete's family on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau.
