Rebecca Pettit

Wynantskill- Rebecca J. "Becky" Pettit, 58, passed away at home on February 5, 2020. Born in Troy she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Arlene (Bulson) Bonner. Becky served her community for several years while working for the Schodack Police Dept. followed by a 20 plus year career with First Albany Corp. She enjoyed traveling, was an avid NASCAR fan as well as a fan of her late Husband Wayne's racing at Lebanon Valley Speedway. Becky also liked to create things by crocheting and crafting and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Wayne S. Pettit, father-in-law Wayne H. Pettit and mother in law Pauline A. Pettit. She is survived by her sisters, Pamela (Wayne) Harbour, Ronda (Richard) Countermine and Lynn (Mike) Scaccia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, 2 grand nieces and her cat Trouble. A funeral service will be held on Monday, 10:00 AM at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home in Nassau. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home Sunday from 2-5PM. Interment will follow the funeral service in St. Mary's Cemetery, Nassau. In lieu of flowers donations in Becky's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
