Spencer H. O'Brien

Spencer H. O’Brien, 86 , of Nassau passed away on January 23, 2023 at Van Rensselaer Manor Nursing and Rehab in North Greenbush. Born in Rochester he was the son of the late Arthur and Florence O’Brien. Spencer was a Marine Corps Veteran having honorably served his country. He was a member of and was very active in the American Legion Post 1236 in New Lebanon. Spencer retired from the N.Y.S. Police while serving on the Governors detail, a job he very much enjoyed.

He is survived by his loving wife Maureen O’Brien; son Michael O’Brien and his beloved cats Earl and Tucker.

Per Spencer’s wishes there will be no services.
