Stephen O. Nalley, 63, of Nassau passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital on October 6, 2014. Born in Rensselaer NY he was the son of Dorothy Boel and the late Raymond A. Nalley II. Stephen was a member of the Nassau Sportsman Club and was an avid golfer. He recently designed and built his own golf course which was a huge accomplishment for one person to do. Most known for his joy of working he was the owner of Impact Auto and S&S Auto Sales in Nassau. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and would help out a customer who might not have had the money they needed, just to get them back on the road.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his son, Stephen B. Nalley, daughters Rebecka (Jason) Couse, Kaitlyn Nalley, Kimberley Nalley and thier mother Barbara Secor, companion Ruth Bombard, brothers, John R. (Pat), Donald A. and Raymond A. Nalley III, sisters, Jan A. (Art) Archambeault and Mary E. (Wayne) Elliot, grandchildren, Michael and Mackenzie Couse. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of Steve's life will be celebrated this Friday, October 10, 12:00pm at the Nassau Sportsman Club 370 Boyce Road Nassau, NY 12123.
