Susan Murnane

Susan M. Murnane, 75, of Petersburgh passed away at home surrounded by her family on April 25, 2024. Born in Troy to the late Elmer and Ruth Yerden, she was the loving wife of Robert A. Murnane.

Susan loved to crochet and enjoyed making blankets and hats for cancer patients and for babies in the NICU. She enjoyed traveling to Florida to enjoy the warm weather, camping, her daytime soap operas and miniature golfing at all of the courses from here to Lake George. She would frequent the fairs every year and enjoyed her fair food. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Amy Baker, Eric Osgood, and Kathleen Osgood (Benny Michael); stepchildren Eric (Renee) Lackey, Robert C. Murnane and Kimberly (Erik) DeGeorgio; siblings Richard (Helen) Yerden and Sandra (David) Lindeman; grandchildren Richard Burch Jr., Brittany Burch and Kodey Osgood. She is also survived by 8 step grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren.

All are invited to attend a graveside service for Susan on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. in Brookside Cemetery, Poestenkill.
