Thomas Carroll

Thomas V. Carroll Sr. 77, of Brainard passed away on Nov. 29, 2016 in New Smyrna Beach Fl. Tom proudly served in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1964 and was a reservist until 1984. Mr. Carroll had 60 years of total service as a volunteer fireman serving with the Mountain View Fire Dept. and most recently the Tsatsawassa Protective Fire Co. where he was a former Vice President and Chairman of the Board. He was also member of the Rensselaer County Fire Chiefs Association. He is survived by his life partner and best friend Allen D. Spear; children, Thomas and Tina; siblings, Michael, Janice, Sharon and Jane. He is also survived by his grandchildren.

Funeral service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 12:00noon. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:00am -12:00noon. Interment to follow in the East Nassau Cemetery.
