Thomas Day

Thomas G. Day, 60, of Johnstown, formerly of Nassau, passed away on November 16, 2015. Born in Albany he was the son of the late Raymond and Shirley Day. Tom served our country in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Saratoga before joining the Albany Local Operating Engineers. Tom was an avid music lover and enjoyed both listening to and playing music.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother William Day. Tom has now been reunited with his loving dog and best friend Roy who had recently passed. He is survived by his daughters Cheryl Day (Christopher Stewart) and Rachel Day (Jared Hachigian); stepchildren, Russell and Matthew Henderson and Amy Proctor; brother, Robert "Bert" Day (Christi); Nieces Jennifer Clarke (Nick) and Victoria Day. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau on Thursday Nov. 19 from 5:00-8:00pm.
