Phyllis Drowne

Phyllis E. Drowne, 80, of Old Chatham died Friday June 11th at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Pittsfield MA she was the daughter of the late Clifton and Mary (Cross) Miller. She was very involved in the Wesley United Methodist Church and then the North Chatham Methodist Church. Phyllis was also a member of the Tri-Village Fire Company's Auxiliary.

She is survived by: her longtime companion Elmer Clark of Nassau; son, Thomas (Cheryl) Lewis of Old Chatham; daughter, Catherine (Jack) Wassil of Ventura CA; step-sons, Richard (Michele) Drowne of Valatie, and David Drowne of Albany; sister, Shirley Miller of Cheshire MA. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband.

Funeral service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home 11 Elm St. Nassau, Monday at 12:00 noon. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:00am to 12:00. Interment in Old Chatham Union Cemetery.
