Helen Sue Hopkins, 75, of Nassau, passed away January 12, 2013 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson. Born in Hudson to the late Paul and Nellie (Traver) Harter she was a former Real Estate Agent with Melfie Real Estate in East Greenbush. Sue was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Kinderhook as well as a member of Parish Life and the Alter Guild there. Mrs. Hopkins was also a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a former Matron. Sue enjoyed Reading, Scrapbooking and quilting to fill her time.

She is survived by her loving husband William E. Hopkins, son, Eric Hopkins, daughter, Heather (Mark) Werner, brother, Paul R. (Amelia) Harter, sister-in-law, Emily Baglione, and her beloved pets, Pepper her Chihuahua and Dudley her cat. She was predeceased by her son Evan Hopkins and daughter Heidi Hopkins.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 6 Silvester Street Kinderhook, NY 12106 on Thursday January 17, at 11:00am, all are invited to attend. There will be no calling hours. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery in Nassau. In Lieu of Flowers donations in Sue's name may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 637 Kinderhook NY 12106.
