Brian Chute

Brian Michael Chute, age 30, formerly of Nassau went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 25, 2013 with his loving family at his side. Brian was born March 16, 1983, graduated from Columbia High School in June 2002 and attended SCCC where he earned 39 college credits. This was a wonderful accomplishment for someone with Down Syndrome. He also worked one semester at Disney World as part of an internship program with SCCC. Brian earned a scholarship from Down Syndrome Aim High for his studies at SCCC. Brian also belonged to The Dance Troupe at Potential Unlimited Productions, and was a member of the Reformed Church of Schodack Landing. Brian is survived by his father, Ted, his mother Lorraine and his sister Jennifer. In addition to his family, Brian is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 AM at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm Street, Nassau. Interment in New Britain Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8PM.
