Margaret E. Hook, 87, passed away peacefully, Monday August 26th 2013 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. Born Dec. 5, 1925 to the late Eugene and Emma Hook, she resided most of her life in Nassau N.Y. Margaret retired as a rural route carrier and was employed by the Times Union Newspaper for over 33 years.

She is survived by her sister, Patricia (John) Lamboy of Nassau as well as many nieces and nephews and her faithful dog Caitlin. She was predeceased by her brother, Willis and sister, Louise Miller.

A private graveside service will be held at the Nassau-Schodack Cemetery on Friday August 30th. There will be no calling hours. The family would like to thank the staff at Van Rensselaer Manor for their kind and dedicated care.
