Manuel P. Tobio Nassau Manuel P. "Manny" Tobio, 80, of Nassau passed away September 2, 2013 at his home. Born in Pontevedra Spain he was the son of the late Eduardo and Orencia (Periera) Tobio. He was a member of the North Chatham Fire Co., former member of the Nassau Hose Co. #1, Nassau Ambulance and the Nassau Lions Club. Mr. Tobio was also a member of the Masons Ancient Temple Lodge #14 in Albany. He especially loved traveling back to his home to Spain. Manny was a longtime self-employed building contractor. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty years Gail Tobio, his son, Edward L. (Kim) of Nassau, daughters, Susan (Earl "chick") Simpson of Nassau, Becky Broussard of Schodack and Tina Tobio (Fred) Lee of Nassau, grandchildren Kevin David (Andrea) Broussard, Amanda (Todd) Anderson and Marc Tobio. He is also survived by his great granddaughter, Aria Broussard. Funeral service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau on Thursday Sept. 5th at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00pm. Interment in Nassau-Schodack Cemetery. The Tobio family would like to thank Dr. Ramon Fabregas, Dr. Alan Rauch, Dr. Michael Lettrick, the nursing staff on D4E at Albany Medical Center Hospital and the nursing staff at St. Peter's Hospital.
