William A. Villeneuve, 80, of Nassau, passed away Monday September 23rd, 2013 at his home. Bill was born November 1st, 1932. He was the son of the late Lester and Ethel Villeneuve and was predeceased by his brother, Arnold and his sister, Loretta LaPlante. Bill was a retired Master Sergeant, USAF with 22 years of service. After retiring, Bill held various jobs in the building industry, culminating with his retirement from Millbrook Kitchens. He was a lifetime member of the Tri-Village Bowhunters. Bill's greatest joy was spending time and traveling with his family. He married the love of his life, Jeannette (LaMountain) on October 4th, 1953 and enjoyed what would've been 60 years of marriage. Bill is the father of Bruce (Donna), and Steven (Carol) Villeneuve and Jeanne (Edmund) Pangburn. He is survived by his seven grandchildren whom he adored and who cherished him, Bruce, Allison, Emily, and Jake Villeneuve and Ashley, Kyle and Adam Pangburn. He is also survived by his brothers, Clarence and Kenneth, his sister, Marie Hines, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services Saturday September 28th, 2013 at 10:30am from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau. Family and friends are invited to call Friday September 27th, from 5-8pm at the funeral home. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Nassau.
