Arthur J. Dalton, 82, of Nassau NY passed away August 1st 2013. Born in Edgewater NJ he was the son of the late Thomas F. and Katherine (McCann) Dalton. Mr. Dalton was a United States Army Veteran. Arthur had lived in Nassau for 34 years and was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. He was previously employed by Hudson Valley Community College in Troy before retiring in 2000. Arthur was also an active member of the Edgewater American Legion Post # 0116 before his passing.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife Marguerite, his son Dennis M. and his sister Dorothy D. Dalton. Arthur is survived by his sons; James A., John J. and Robert O. Dalton, daughter, Joanne Goodermote, brother, Thomas F. Dalton and sister, Katherine R. Dalton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Ave. Fort Lee NJ, on Monday Aug. 5th, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday Aug. 6th 9:30am at the Church of the Holy Rosary, 365 Undercliff Ave. in Edgewater. Interment in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
