Ronald Bonner

June 15, 1940 — October 22, 2014

Ronald L. Bonner, 74, of Nassau passed away on October22, 2014 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. Born in East Greenbush he was the son of the late Clinton and Viola (Smith) Bonner and loving husband of the late Arlene F. Bonner. He was employed as a Sheet Metal Worker with Local No. 83 Sheet Metal Workers until his retirement. Ronald was skilled in all aspects of construction, he was the owner of Lakeside Sheet metal and even had a hand in building each of his children's houses. A lifetime member of the Nassau Sportsman Club he was an avid hunter and enjoyed camping. Ronald loved dancing, especially the Jitterbug. Most of all he was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Rebecca (late Wayne) Pettit, Pamela (Wayne) Harbour, Ronda (Richard) Countermine, Lynn (Mike Scaccia) Bonner, siblings, Pat, Joan (Dick), Boyd (Betty), Judy (John), Sandy (Ryan), Donna, Sharon (Neil) and Rick (Fran), sister in law Ann and brother in law Edgar, grandchilren, Michelle Bonner, Joshua Grenon, Adam Harbour, Ariel Sanford and Anthony Countermine. He was predeceased by his sister Beverly and brother Clinton.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Nassau Sportsman Club, 370 Boyce Rd. in Nassau on Saturday, October 25 at 2:00pm. A reception in the club will follow the service and all are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in Ronald's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society P.O.
