Pauline Pettit

Pauline Ann Pettit age 73 formerly of Nassau, died after a brief illness on February 27, 2015 in Port Richey, Florida. On Valentine's Day, in 1960, she married the love of her life, Wayne H. Pettit. She was an excellent example of a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Pauline was a long time resident of Green Island, NY. She was a Family Care Provider for over 25 years. In 2000, Pauline retired and moved from Nassau to Port Richey where she enjoyed embroidery, shuffleboard and bingo. Her sister, Rita Walton (William) and her son, Wayne S. Pettit (Rebecca) preceded Pauline in death. In addition to her loving husband she is survived by her brother, John Vogel (Maureen), her children Paula Burtt (Duane), Warren Pettit, Pamela Corellis (Thomas), Patrice Johnson, William Pettit and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends and family on Saturday March 7th from 11am-2pm at Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home in Nassau. Burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Nassau.
