Edward C. Druba, 85, of Nassau passed away on July 24, 2015 in the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Poestenkill he served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Ed was a member of the Nassau American Legion Post 1268, an avid fisherman and loved gardening. Ed along with his wife enjoyed socializing at the Southern Tier Senior Service Center.
He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth (Betty) Druba and daughter Gail Druba both of Nassau. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Millie Biitig, Rose Cronin, Martha Radz, and Arthur, Carl, Henry, Minnie, Margaret and Mary Druba. Funeral service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau on Monday July 27 at 10:00 am, relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie. In lieu of flowers donations in Ed's memory may be made to the Southern Tier Senior Service Center, 1800 East Schodack Road Castleton NY, 12033.
