Joan Ambrose

Joan T. Ambrose, 83, of Defreestville passed away on Sept. 16, 2017. Joan was willing to help any animal in need even adopting several cats from shelters to give them a loving home. She loved her house and enjoyed caring for it, it was a blessing she was able to stay there until her passing. Joan is survived by her daughter, Robin (Robert) Zukowski of Queensbury; brother, William Miner of Chatham; grandson, Aaron Moore of Nassau and great grandchildren Caden Moore and Austin Melius. She is also survived by several cousins. Funeral service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau on Wednesday at 12:00pm. Relatives and friends may call prior to the service from 10am to 12pm. Interment will be in Bloomingrove Cemetery, Defreestville.
