Clara Kullman

Clara E. Kullman, 94, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Evergreen Commons Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was the beloved wife of Donald Kullman for 74 years until his passing on January 5, 2017. Clara was born in Utica, New York on December 26, 1923 to George and Isabelle Wheeler. As a child she moved to Nassau, NY with her family and was proud to be in the first graduating class from Columbia High School. During WWII she worked for Montgomery Ward in Menands. After taking time out to raise her family she returned and retired from the Catalog Dept. at Montgomery Ward. Clara was a long time member of the Genet Chapter of the Eastern Star in East Greenbush and St. Paul's Methodist Church in Castleton. Clara loved spending time with her family, especially the Fish Creek camping trips. Clara is survived by her children; Kenneth Kullman (Doris) of East Schodack, and Hazel Geracitano (Ben) of Nassau. Three grandchildren; Daren Kullman (Jessica) of Boyertown, PA, Mark Geracitano of Nassau and Athena Geracitano of Los Angeles, CA. Five great grandchildren; Kristina, Kira and Adler Kullman, Angelica and Christianna Geracitano, and one great-great grandchild; Ryker Geracitano. Clara is also survived by her sister, Marjorie Secor and many beloved extended family members. In addition to her husband Clara was predeceased by her brothers; Richard, George and Kenneth Wheeler. Her nephew, Jeffrey Secor and niece, Karen Courcelle. Funeral Services will be held on Monday June 18th, 12:00pm at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau. Interment to follow in North Chatham Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
