Joseph L. Gaioni of Nassau N.Y. passed away May 6, 2011. Joseph was born in Connecticut to Andrew and Angeline (Battistoni) Gaioni. He served in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge with the rank of Specialist 4th class. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and poppy.

Joseph is survived by his; wife, Nanci (Moran) Gaioni; mother, Angeline Battistoni; sister, Irene

Demora; daughters, Tamie and Terri and his son AJ; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and his nieces. He was predeceased by his Father Andrew Joseph Gaioni and his sister Margaret Jilan.

Funeral service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home 11 Elm St. Nassau, on Tuesday May 10th at 7:00pm. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home prior to the service from 4-7pm.
