Castleton, Thelma R. Hansen,70, of Castleton, formerly of Nassau, died Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Thelma was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth Freemantle. She was also predeceased by a brother,Gene Freemantle. Survivors include her husband, Richard J. Hansen, a daughter Tina M. Hansen, her brother Jerry (Maureen) Freemantle, a sister Josie Baker, six grandchildren; Bradley Murphy, April Schepisi, Shawn Gillingham, Cameron Fhountin, Alexis and Autumn Thorne. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from The Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm Street, Nassau Wednesday morning at 11:30. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 9:30-11:30 preceding the service. Interment Nassau Cemetery.
