I only ment Homer on a few ocassions. But could easly tell he was a incredable man. Read and enjoyed his book. Easy to associate with it. My deepesty sympathy to His wife and children. Rest in Peace Homer.

I was always very fond of my Great Uncle Homer. He had a great sense of humor, joy of life, and kindness, and of course reminded me so much of my Grandpa. I had hoped to have more conversations with him about family genealogy but am grateful to have the gift of his memoir. Very sad for this loss. With love, Jamie

My heartfelt condolences to Homer’s family. While in the credit union family, I had frequent conversations with him during my Empire Corporate days. He was always cheerful and a pleasure to work with. Ann Marie, my heart aches for you at your loss. Your dad was an amazing person who has left a huge footprint on many.

Uncle Homer always seemed larger than life to me as I was growing up. Dad always talked about the younger brother who shared his birthday and how proud he was of him. We always enjoyed visiting him and Aunt Barb and their family. Unfortunately, as I grew older and the families grew up, I didn’t visit as I should have. He was a great man and will be missed. God bless you all. Love, Christina (Chrissy) LaVoie Derby and family.

Homer Will be missed by the members of the Art Quinn golf league at Burden Lake. He was a fun man to play golf with and always made you feel at ease with his infectious smile. He always had stories about his family to share and loved his trips to the casino. Homer Lavoie was a kind and gentle man may he rest in peace. Jack Thorpe
