Obituary of Karen Ayer-DiStaula

Karen Ayer-DiStaula Wakefield, MA On July 22, 2021, our wonderful daughter passed into the Lord’s arms after a three-year battle with cancer. The daughter of William and Barbara Ayer; sister of Leann Ayer and Michael (Theresa) Ayer; loving mother of Michael John and William James DiStaula; grandmother of William and Jonathan DiStaula; aunt of Alexander Ayer and loving companion to Gene Frances Decost for the past 7 years. Karen lived in Wakefield, MA for most of her adult life, where she raised her family. She was a project manager for Johnson Controls. Karen loved the beach, travel to Florida, cooking, skiing, and celebrating with friends and family. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life on November 6, from 1-4pm at the Nassau Ambulance Center, 498 McClellan Road, Nassau, NY 12123.
