After only a crash course on repairing jewelry, he become owner of the Jewelry Repair Center in Schodack and turned it into a very successful business. Everything was an adventure with Bill, there was rarely ever a formal plan for the days activities, but it always worked out in the end. He was truly an adventurer, enjoying his time spent on Nassau Lake, boating and vacationing in Maine.
