My childhood memory of Nancy was that she was a quiet good presence. As an adult this early impression expanded with the realization that she was like her mother, a quiet good presence who evoked in you a sense of being at home. In this regard she was very much like her mother Helen, though very much her own person.

Nancy, dear friend, we will miss you greatly. It has been hard watching your decline over the last number of years. One of the many things we always admired about you was your fantastic recall. Often, when we would go to a restaurant at the Jersey shore or somewhere else, you would recall a previous visit many years prior. You would remind us all of what we ate and also what we wore at that visit. You could recall the smallest detail. We will also miss your creativity. The way you loved to decorate for all the holidays not just Christmas. It even earned you the title, “Spooky Nancy” from our grandson because of your Halloween decorations. You have been such a strong part of our lives. New Year’s Eve will always be a reminder of our celebrations together. Traveling to so many different countries was enhanced because we could share the excitement and wonder with you. Whether it was traveling down the canals of Venice, sitting on a quiet beach, or cruising the high seas it was much more enjoyable because we did it together. We shared so much in common. We felt your love of family, your pride in your children and grandchildren, your talents in needlework, cooking, sewing and your faith. You always made us feel so welcomed into your home. Your warmth and generous hospitality was so appreciated. You were a very special person and will be missed. We do take comfort in knowing you are in God’s loving presence.
With our prayers, Ed and Loretta

In loving memory of our Dear Friend Nancy!
I will miss your smile and always kind words. When we met some 20+ years ago - I knew we would remain close even after you retired from Albany Law. Nancy, I remember your parents and how much you cherished them (and will see them again now) - and I loved hearing stories about your 2 children and "your 4 little boys". I pray that you rest now and that memories of you be a blessing to all who knew, met and loved you. Rest in Paradise my friend. :) Pershia W. - Albany Law School
