Obituary of Gail N. Tobio

Gail N. Tobio, 85, of Nassau passed away on March 6, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Louis and Ruth Allrich.  Gail was a lifelong area resident and was very devoted to her family and her community.  She enjoyed cooking and traveling, especially to Spain where she and her late husband Manny owned a home.  Gail liked to spend time with her friends at the Castleton Senior Center and would attend many of their outings and trips. 

Gail was predeceased by her husband Manuel P. Tobio and her sister and two brothers.  She is survived by her son Edward L. (Kim) Tobio of Nassau; daughters, Susan (Earl) Simpson of Nassau, Becky Broussard of Schodack and Tina (Fred) Tobio Lee of Nassau; grandchildren, Kevin David (Andrea) Broussard, Amanda Anderson and Mark (Jessica) Tobio; great-grandchildren Aria Broussard and Connor Layman.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her beloved cat Vivian.

Gail’s children are very thankful for all of the love and support shown to her by their close friends and family during this difficult time.

A funeral service will be held at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau on Saturday March 11 at 10:00 a.m.  Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home Friday evening from 4-7 p.m.  Interment, Nassau Schodack Cemetery.     

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Gail's memory to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at Pancan.org
